The Toledo Animal Shelter Auxiliary held their annual Spring Brunch and election of officers at Toledo Country Club on Thursday, May 6. It was a beautiful day inside and out with much enthusiasm from the members and guests as welcomed by Auxiliary President, Nancy Ligibel.

In advance of the coming October 28, 2010, Fashion Show “A Walk Down Fifth Avenue”, to be sponsored by The Toledo Animal Shelter Auxiliary and Assistance Dogs of America, the highlight of the day was a review of fashion presented by Judy Hart of “Elegant Rags” in Perrysburg, the shop that will be featured. Models were Sandra Seiple, Joni Fought, Jenny Barlos, Marlene Uhler, Carole Buchanan, Grace Christopher and Bonnie Milano. Along with the fashions were delicious baked goods purchased for a donation, headed up by C .J. Leffler and Lisa Connin. Beautiful geraniums were for sale, chaired by Jean Smith, who also won the Door Prize. 50/50 raffle tickets were sold by Barbara Brown and Sharon Simmons, and the winner was Sandy Boyd.

Nominating Chairman, Grace Christopher, presented the slate of officers for the coming year. The committee included Sue Lovett and Bonnie Milano.

Upon approval by those present, Past-President, Pat Hunter installed the new officers as follows:
